Description: | Selected works from the exhibition by the same name will be included. This 32-page publication will reflect on relevance of art and aesthetic experience to life of women and its impact on the betterment of the human spirit. It will focus on the transformational and empowering impact of the creative process through the works of women artists and survivors of abuse. The book will be issued this summer. 1000 copies of the book will be distributed to social services agencies and university and public libraries throughout the Illinois free of charge. Additional copies will be available for purchase from the Project Director, Elka Kazmierczak.
