Nasty Women of the North - Call for Artists

Jul 26, 2017 - Oct 1, 2017

imageThe Feminist Art Project of Upstate NY is organizing a group exhibition that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women's rights and individual rights. It will also serve as a fundraiser to support The Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood during this uncertain time. 100% of sales from artwork will be donated to our local Planned Parenthood.

We are excited to have Angel Bellaran as Guest Curator for this event. Bellaran was the Curator for "the original" Nasty Women NYC show at the Knockdown Center in Queens.

This event is organized by Madison LaVallee and Claire Sherwood, co-coordinators of The Feminist Art Project: Upstate NY. Contact the organizers at with any questions.
