The Feminist Art Project (TFAP) aims to effect permanent change by promoting and archiving events and publications that recognize the work of women artists, feminist content in art, feminist art practice, the impact of feminism on the art world and feminist analysis in art and art history and other cultural arenas. Artists, scholars, groups and presenters may post their national and international exhibitions, publications and programs that serve this mission.
ELIGIBILITY
All visual art media are eligible for inclusion. Exhibitions, films, performances, publications, classes or other events with feminist art content, feminist intent or work by any individual woman who identifies herself or has been identified by the arts community as an artist is eligible for inclusion. The Feminist Art Project is interested in activities that look at the broader question of the impact of feminism on the art world, feminist content in art, and feminist analysis in art and art history.
There are no fees of any kind to use or contribute to the calendar. TFAP does not promote the work of individual artists on its web site, but rather encourages artists to post their exhibitions, lectures performances and other art-related activities on the TFAP on-line calendar.
